When you click on "my forums" there is a small thing at the top that says "add forum". It doesn't even look like a button, but click it.
Then is says something like http://WWW.________________.proboards.com
Insert "gerbilforum"

No, and I'm not sure I'd recommend it. I've had lots of trouble with it crashing (although I look at large threads like post til a mod posts a lot, it's better with smaller ones)

I think it was $2 (USD)
It does crash randomly. And for me, it sucks because I have NO admin functions with the app. Which is also frustrating since I use my phone as internet.
Proboards is working on the issues, and I am on their support board for the app. The crashing is frequent. Random, and seemingly has nothing to do with thread size.

ok. It was $2.99 when I bought it last night. I will try again to find us:) I got pretty frustrated trying to type my posts with just using safari on my itouch, so i decided I'd test it out. Will see if it crashes for me. Probably will, as my Ipod is IOS 3 and faulty, but hey- it must be better than the crashing I was experiencing when trying to message people

Ah. I wasn't sure but thought surely it couldn't be that bad on all the threads and maybe that was the explanation! May have to head over to the support board then

Ok, I have an Android phone and the app is free and it definitely works. Not crashed once and all the content is there.

racemmann.... Proboards themselves have said they don't offer the app for free, because "it costs money to make it" (somebody on the support board was complaining about having to pay for the app)
would be interesting to see if you're using the exact same one, or if you're using something different, and how you got it. But it's definately all over the support board that the app has to force close. I personally have yet to see a pattern in how it's happening though.

Thanks guys! I've been enjoying it. Havn't experienced a crash yet, but just my luck it will crash once I'm done writing this out

I often just end up using safari.
the major difference if that in 'new topics' you get ALL the threads you haven't read and no others. This is why I don't like it. In principle it's a good idea, but the thing crashes as I open a thread and then it doesn't appear in 'new topics' anymore and then I get annoyed.
