make sure your virus scanners are working
one of the ads tried to give me a Trojan.
luckily avast blocked the connection. phew
avast is free...just google it and you can get a free version. it does run out but it keeps working... haha

One of the ads on this site? You could try making your sites ad-free by downloading Ad-Block Plus for Firefox.
I used to have avast until I got malware on my old computer and avast did nothing since it doesn't have any malware protection. After my computer got restored to factory settings I put Microsoft Security Essentials (also free) on it and used Windows Defender for malware protection. But now since I have a new computer I'm using my free year of Webroot.

Proboards wants a screen shot (a "print screen" picture) of the error/notice you're getting.

Well, poopy. They can't really do much unless they see what's going on. It seems very limited, which usually means it's a computer problem, not a site problem.

Get me a screen shot. Proboards cannot do anything unless they know where its coming from. Also, more details is helpful. Saying it came from the forum is a really broad location
