Well, for starters, the store where I was planning to get a fantastic duna with a waterbottle in the side decided not to sell them anymore... So I went out today with a friend and bought myself a large storage bin with a top. All I need now is help to make it .. but problem is I can't really follow the instructions on hamstercentral.com, simply because: A: If I use a powertool I will likely hack my hands off and B: I haven't the clue what and where they are! (and whether I have them all) Is there a way of making a bin cage minus the power tools? I mean, I'm back at school next week (wednesday) and I could see if I can use their tools and possibly the help of any teachers to build it... but that is if they allow me to, because they get a little narky sometimes about things like that. I was hoping there was maybe a way you could use like... a knife to cut out the plastic, and staples or non-toxic glue or something Any help is gratefully appreciated!

you can use a knife to cut the plastic, and a skewer (metal) heated on the oven (wear gloves!) to melt wholes into the top, to fit twist ties to, to secure the hardware cloth.

It's a type of cage, most commonly used for guniea pigs or rabbits. I would use scissors, to cut your holes. Or a screw driver and a hammer to knotch out holes in the lid. I'm sure you can do it without power tools. Use you imagination (Just don't show your parents what your useing there good silver for LOL)
