how fast do your gerbils eat a tube? after about 10 min, silvia and princess leave just a remnant of an entire paper towel tube.
lol, ive seen princess wake up (sorta) and start chewing a tube with her eyes still closed. lol

Well, I received them in the mail a few days ago. They're real thick so the gerbs take a really long time to finish one, I gave some of them some tubes two days ago and there is still a lot of the tube left. The thing about these tubes, they're really small .. the only way gerbils could fit through them is if they're the size of newborn pups. They smell like fruit though and my gerbs love chewing them. 12 of these for about 6 bucks, I don't know if they're worth it. In fact if you just BUY them from that person it's a lot more money (plus shipping and handling) so you're better off BIDDING for them instead of BUYING. I'll definitely bid for some more sometime in the future though. Gerbil toys these days are expensive anyway, 6 bucks for 12 thick tubes seem like a good deal.

please slit these tubes lengthways as gerbils have been known to force their way in and suffocate

please slit these tubes lengthways as gerbils have been known to force their way in and suffocate yeah, i gave a small tube to my old gerbil and he got his head stuck in it and he couldn't get it off (we had to very carefully pull him out), so i'd do as doom says

lol I found this ironically funny... make sure they won't get hurt... do what doom says... hehe
My gerbils DEVOUR those things... I gave the two girls two of those on Sunday and all I can find today is not even a fourth of the tube... they <3 them hehe!
At Pet Supplies Plus I can get them for about 30 cents each (USD)
