SO yesterday I noticed a little patch of fur missing on Shadows nose, I checked him over and he looked fine to me.... (thats the clearest i could it)  Hes running around, eating fine, drinking fine, chewing cardboard.... Well I spent the night at a friends house last night and when I got home today I picked him up and his tummy seemed stiff or harder then it normally is... I checked him and saw this!!  I dont know what to do!! Go to the vet like right now?! or what?! Please help! |

Looks like a tumor. Get him to the vet as soon as possible!

I don't see a tumor, or at least not one that I am use to seeing. The gland looks fairly normal, except near the top, i can't tell if the fur is just misaligned or if there is a pinkish growth there. i dont think i have any recent pics of tumors... i'll have too look around. a better picture would help.

The thing near the top is what I thought looked like a tumor.

Its just never been like that at all.... are males different then females in the way their scent gland looks? could he of just not been fully developed yet? hes 4-5 months old..

In that picture it looks normal. Males have a little bit larger scent gland.

could it be a build up of scent gland secretion that has kinda dried up?
