is it good for them to chew plastic. bc in hte past mine used to but now they dont anymore. i also use he carefresh bedding like wood chips stuff. bc of hte fact the old stuff i used to use ( cellsorb) it was at hte point since all gerbils love to dig . they wanted to dig but they couldnt with the cell sorb. so i got differnt bedding they love it. does it matter wat kinda sand should be used for bathing and wat can you use to make them dug tunnels bc i wanted to see mine do that.

I agree, but other bad sand is also good enough in my opinion. I use bird sand.

i think the plastic can become sharp and they can scratch themselves on it. one of the gerbils at my old school scratched his eye on some plastic which he'd chewed

If they accidently swallow plastic, they could die from air passage blockage.
