im having the same problem. i want to upload a pic off of facebook of my gerbils and it wont work for some odd reason.

after a lot of fiddling i got it to work. the info on that thread is a little out of date, the button is "direct link" not URL, and you have to edit (top right (middle) button), then adjust, then resize (keep proportions) and adjust width to, say 100. then save and copy direct link button.

I'm not having any luck adding an avatar to my profile. I modified the profile to put in the avatar URL, and the height and width (100 x 100)
When I click the "modify profile" button, it goes back to my profile but doesn't show any avatar. When I try to modify it again, the URL and size fields are blank again! I've tried in both FF and Chrome.
Here's the pic link I"m trying to use:
Nevermind! Figured it out.The URL I copied was "https" instead of "http:" for some reason. It wasn't showing up in the post either. Once I changed it to "http" it works. |
