I feel SO relieved, my gerbils tank had been stinking SO bad. I was about to spend $7.00 on a tiny bag of aspen at a local family owned petshop. When I thought, I'd go look and see if Wal-Mart had some good bedding. So when I got there I didn't expect much. (All they usually carry is pine, ceader and something else that I can't remember what is.) But then I saw it the words "Corncob Bedding" I had to do a double-take to make sure I wasn't dreaming. But alas, It was there! I worridley looked at the price tag.... $2.59! OMG That's SSOO great! I scooped up the bag like it was my life-line! I ran to checkout and... Well, Ok I didn't run, I walked.. But I purchased $2.59 Corncob bedding and I walked out of that store as proud as the robin who got the worm. I got home and quicly took out the aspen, and placed the corncob bedding in, along with a bit of timothy hay. My gerbils seem to be enjoying it. Vic my gerbils are so hapy

YAAAAAY! I really like corncob, it is much better for gerbils! I found that aspen and pine really smell bad. I only noticed a few weeks ago that the bedding the boys had been on for a year was pine, mixed with hemp. It smalls awful and makes me sneeze, so corncob is DEFINATELY the best. Where I live it is also used for cat litter boxes, because it is in pellets, is it the same in the USA and Canada?
