Does anybody has experience white this type of bedding?
[glow=red,2,300]Hennep from hempflax[/glow], it should be better. (hennep is a dutch word a can not translate it) Is it necessary do mix it with hay for the digging of the gerbils?

From what I've heard the Hemp bedding is fine to use, but it's very expencive in comparison to even Care Fresh or Aspen.

Well I use also hemp, the brand I use is hemparade. But here in the Netherlands it is even cheaper than wood shavings. So maybe in Belgium too. They can dig in it, like they also can in other beddings. But they cannot make burrows, like in sand. For that mixing with hay might help. what I do is making an artificial burrow from rocks and bricks that I fill with bedding, so that they have to 'dig' their burrow themselves.
