How can you tell the "clicky" noises of that between the sucky noises they make?
My pups are only about 2 weeks old and when I hold them, they start moving their lips and like sucking.. like they're looking for milk.. But sometimes when I hold all of them at once, I hear it and I can't tell who's doing it.
Most likely just the sucking noises and not a respitory infection right?
They shouldn't get it. They're on corncob, and the nest the pups are in.. it's all unscented toilet paper. Not even anything else. The mother kicked it all out.

Also, how much is too much sunflower seeds? I've been giving my girl way too many because I wanted to make sure she was getting enough protein. And I'd lure her away from the nest with the smell.. lol so I could look at the pups. Now I realize she doesn't care what I do so I cut her down to like 2 a day. But she's fat now! (although some of that might be the milk sac things?) I've started letting her out for exercise again while they're sleeping so that should help. She used to come out daily.

I cannot describe the clicking sound as clicking during breating! It is because their noses is stuffed up! Do they have clean noses? Than it will most likely be just sucky noises! They should not have much sunflower seeds! Only 1-2 a day! By the way, sunflower seeds contain no protein! They contain a lot of fat, which is not the same! Protein is in dry cat/dog food, mealworms, etc. When nursing it is better for her that she in not skinny, because the production of milk will drain energy from her! The fat in sunflower seeds contains not much nutrients, but only a lot of enegy. She needs the nutrients to stay healthy, so be sure that she will eat enough of her other food!
