Hi, I just got a new bigger tank whit no topper and I need some ideas of how I can attach there water bottle to the tank. At the moment I've taped it but I don't want to keep it like that.

You could try a water bottle which has suction cups. Ferplast do this one: www.ferplast.com/uk/shop/small-pet-supplies/hamster/sippy-4672-small (if you click on the far-right thumbnail you'll see an image of it with suction cups). I used that one for a while. The only downside is that the lid is not watertight, so if the bottle falls down it will leak out everywhere.

Like gerbillover9612 said try velcro and attach it to your water bottle and the tank. Here is an example of it with my water bottle placement.

I find Velcro the best thing to use as it dont get in the way like a bottle holder and you can practically use it with any water bottle

superpet has a "chew proof" water bottle holder that sticks to the side of a tank. wag.com sells them in two sizes for only around 3 dollars. here

Basically all pet stores have water bottle holders, many of which can be attached to a tank. The link linkasaurus gave is actually to a holder I have, but you can also just get them from places like Petco and Petsmart.

Thanks for your ideas, I might try the velcro idea and if that doesn't work then I'll try something else. Do you ever have a problem with them chewing on the velcro?

Nope never had a problem. As long as the Velcro dont stick out, basically if you can't see it then they won't be able to get to it xx
