Today I discovered that my two female gerbils (two years) are very sick. Yesterday they were absolutley fine. One can't open it's eyes and is very tired. The other one has got a VERY swollen stomach! It looks like a balloon! They have not eaten any food. What can I do to help them? Will they die? What is the reason? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! caroline

Oh, I am so sorry. :(Have you taken them to the vet? That would probably be the best thing to do. I really can't help here, but perhaps Peter can.
