It's icky! Actually, it's just wierd looking. It looks completely normal, but it's green! Not like grass green, or baby poo green.... it's like a teal green color. (no I'm not going to take pictures of that) At first I thought it was some bird feed that we mixed into their food. I thought the girls had just dumped it around their bedding, but then Kandice pooped on my boyfriend's hand. The consistancy seems normal, though I didn't touch it. But it didn't smear on his hand. It looked normal, just a bright tealgreen color. Is this bad, or could it just be because they're not processing the birdseed? If that's the case, then I'll leave it out of the next batch of food we mix up. Just wondering if any of your gerbies have had green poo.....

Yes, mine have had green excriment. It happens when I give them Hay or blueberries. Other fruits / vegitables may cause the same color. As long as it is not runny, they are okay. It is rather shocking to see it at first .

I agree, I don't think it is a health issue, just some of the coloring of their food.

Mine have had it before also. It kind of worried me at first, but I checked on it and read that as long as it's not loose, it's ok.

Yeah... it's normal looking colors now, and it was never lose or gooie or anything. Think it was just the change in the diet.
