Ok, so I was holding Squeaky and she was a little frightened, so she pooped. It dropped on the couch and just as I was going to clean it up I saw something wierd. There was a small white thing in her poop. I thought it was moving a little bit, but couldn't confirm it was. My mom almost cleaned it up without knowing I was examining it and the white piece disappaered. Does she have worms? If so, what are the symptoms?

I've never seen them Ryan but every mammal has a range of internal and external parasites that prey upon them so I imagine it is possible, expecially if the food might have any contaminants or their are wild rodents around. Have you googled it? Here's Peters advice home.studenten.net/~petermaas/gerbils/health.htm#wormen

Maybe I am over-reacting, and it was one of her hairs or something, but i dunno.

Definetly keep an eye on her. Watch her weight and her feces. If you do see she's loosing weight, ro see the little critters in her poop, I'd say Vet time ASAP. But it could have been something like hair, or underdigested food, or even somethign she may have gotten into. ither way i'd keep a close watch.

I definitely understand. When you become a parent, you get worked over every little thing!

Yeah, I'll watch her closely. She seems to be eating OK and she is hyper as ever, but I will watch her.
