I always used Super Pet's Silent Spinner for my gerbils but since the wheel started to be distributed from Kaytee they became hard for my gerbils to run and they stopped using it, I tried to fix it by opening the engine and found out that they changed it, seems like they don't use bearing anymore so the wheel became very silent but stiff.
I live in Brazil, there isn't any suitable wheel on my country besides Silent Spinner so I'm thinking about importing some for my gerbils. I was thinking about Super Pet's Run-Around wheel but is it safe?
Or is there any other wheel available on ebay you could recommend for me? Chew-proof is a must of course XD

Sorry that noone has replied to your post - perhaps you should look through some older threads about wheels if you haven't already - or post again. I missed this thread - so perhaps for some reason - so did everyone else?
My gerbils don't seem to use wheels so I have no recommendations for you unfortunately...

Thanks for your reply anyway Most people are recommending silent spinner only but my gerbils can't use the new one... I fell kinda sad because they love wheels, I think I'll have to buy and check for myself then or try to fix the new silent spinner but it is a shame as it is very expensive on my country.

Well over here (US) I still use silent spinners, but I also use mesh wheels like this: Mesh wheelI usually have to take it apart, oil the parts, and put it back together for it to spin well though.

Thank you!
I'll try to import those mesh wheels and see if it works better
