Hello everyone! I know that the administrators are very busy, and I understand that. I registered about a few weeks ago, and I would like to know how much time it takes to get approved. I hope I am not rushing anyone. Can't wait to join this amazing community, looking forward to meeting you all!

It usually takes a few weeks, so probably not too much longer. Hope to see you on the forum before long!

Alright! i.imgur.com/6BBHn5d.jpg This is my gerbil, he lives in a platic cage for now but I'll move him to a steel cage or tank asap. He doesn't really seem to gnaw on the plastic parts much, and the cage has metal bars, so he can't escape.

You can always post in the guest section for now as we all check it regularly - so if you have any burning questions - just ask away...

Took a while for mine to be approved too. I almost forgot about it! Hope you're in soon!

I see you have some fluff in there, that isn't the best for them as they can ingest small bits of it and it could cause an obstruction. You could use paper towels and rip it up for him and he will soon learn to shred it himself and make a nest. a tank is best as they can chew on the bars and injure their teeth, too. He tsure is a cutie! I have two rescues, Adam and Serena.
have fun,
Tammy

Ah, didn't know! I'll remove the fluff. Thanks for the advice He doesn't really seem to chew on the bars though, he tried one time, but didn't like it and went back to gnawing on sticks and toilet paper rolls.
