;D LOL malabui! Dangermouse, I hope the pup heals...They really are very hardy. My uncle's gerbil survived a dog attack, and a few months after I got my gerbils, I went on holiday and some kids looked after them, I came back and both were sick. Paws had a broken leg which never *really* healed, but I'm very happy that he was OK becuase the vet said he would die probably. They are really hardy!
Just to the topic of gerbil weight, at the time of Paws's injury, he weighed 98 grams, about 3.5 ounces LOL! Now, after his diet he weighs 76, about the normal. So gerbil diets REALLY WORK! ;D

I wouldn't worry too much about the foot. did it swell or anything?? Keebler got bit on his little hock, and his foot swelled up 3 or 4 times its normal size. His hock is now still a little bare, but his foot is normal..... but he drags it sometimes, and walks on it sometimes. It's like he forgets it's there. Sometimes he moves it when I pinch his toes with my nails, and sometimes he doesn't. it's hard to tell, but if there were something terribly wrong with the foot, then he'd have chewed it off, and he hasn't. I'd reckon that your pup is fine if its foot is still attached. how's it walking on it?
