Hello! Today four years ago, I had a litter of Seven and one remains. He is the Eighth Generation in my lineage. His name is Mark, also nicknamed Marky. I only kept four of the seven he was born from, and his brothers took their leave within the past year. This old guy is still hanging on strong and is the first in my clan to reach Four! I had been planning his special day for months and he loved it so much. I hope you'll enjoy what photos (and vid) I was able to capture. Here he is as a pup... (right) Here he is suckling on his brother's ear XD (He's pictured left) I love his tiny pup face here; And just last year, here he was while his own children smothered him with love He currently lives with his son, Junior. (pup on top of his head) Here's the birthday boy today! I'll have a short clip of him on my instagram posted here a little later I'm so happy to have him in my life, especially this long. By next week I'll be joining AGS too! I'm so excited to finally become a member and plan out future trips to shows, etc. ^_^

Happy Birthday Mark! (Adam and Serena, my two gerbils wish him a good belated b-day) He looks great for his age, what did you get him for his special day? I had a gerbil, Polo, who made it to 4 1/2 years and he was a pet store gerbil-he had a brother,Stetson, who lived to 3years and 8 months-they were great brothers and friends to me.
Take care,
Tammy

Mark looks in great shape for his age! Hope you can enjoy him another year! We have a little miss who's a little over 3.5; here's hoping she makes it to 4 too.

That's great - I celebrated my first gerbils to live to 4 a while back (brother and sister) - not a lot of them make it that long though. They outlived all their children...
Well done indeed Marky.
