Oh, I know I'm ebarrasing my poor gerbil now... I switched gerbil food brands, and shortly after, I noticed some of their poor was green. The food mix has these treats mixed in that might be the culprit. According to the bag, they use food coloring to make these mutlicolored treats. The treats are red and green, but only green food coloring seems to be acting weird. The gerbils haven't been acting any different. Should I still be worried? :/ It's rather bizarre to see little green droppings.

It's probably just a result of the dye in the food. I occasionally give my gerbs treats that are dyed green and they have little green droppings afterwards as well. Especially if you just switched foods, I'm guessing this is the culprit. As long as they are normal-looking and formed (well, besides being green) and everyone is eating and drinking normally, I wouldn't worry about it.
