Help! Squeaky is showing signs of sickness. This morning, her eyes were half open and she only moved slowly. In the mean time, I have given her some antibiotics and she is sleeping in a warm nest with a heater. All the other gerbils seem fine and don't show any sign of sickness. Does anyone know what might be wrong/what I can do?

Make sure to check Squeaky is drinking. If not you may have to feed gatorade by syringe. Ditto for eating, feed some porridge by hand or put in stuff easy to eat. Check the teeth--sometimes they fall out!

I am not sure what to do other than to encourage you to take her to the vet. I hope all goes well. Please keep us posted!

have you listened to her chest for clicking? she could have RI as gerbils become weak and tired when they have this. i'd take her to the vets just to be sure though

Is she any better Ryan? Has she perked up, or still acting drowzy? If she is I'd advise maybe a call to the vets

I have to agree with whats been posted. If she hasn't perked up a vet trip is needed. That said her symptoms could be recovery from a fit in which case peace and quiet are required. But if it was that she'd be fine very quickly.
