I've seen a lot of talk about gerbil colouring and, after searching online, I'm still not sure what colour they are. (I've only had them a matter of days so am still getting used to all this)
Pictures of them should be seen in my signature. Gauss (dark grey) has a white patch on his his back so he's either pied or spotted but I'm not sure what to describe his colouring as. Fermi (dirty white) has a similar patching of white fur and the rest of him looks like the tips of his fur are darker than the rest of him.
Any ideas?

Hi Smileramy.
It is quite hard to see them in your signature. Do you have bigger pictures?

Great - bigger pictures are always better...
I can't see your signature - but Grey Agoutis and Polar Foxes have similar genes, so that is a possibility if they are litter mates. Gray Agoutis have a very white tummy and Polar Foxes can look dirty white - especially if the spotting gene has lightened their original coat.
Can't wait to see the new images to confirm (as this guess could be totally wrong of course).

Gauss is either Spot Black or Spot Slate. Fermi looks like Spot Colorpoint Agouti. As mentioned, would need bigger pictures to really tell.

Ah, I have seen the images now and yes, I agree with Shooting Star.
