Just for fun, I'm wondering what you all call your gerbils for nicknames. My gerbils real names are Black Eyed Susan and Florence Rose but I always call them Flora and Suzy as well as: Sugar, sweetie, picky bird, ratto, lazy critter, cutesy, baby girl, gerbo, silly gerb, gerb, Mommy's baby, greedy guts, stinky critter, naughty girl, thieving rat, little troublemaker, honey, love duck and cupcake.

Most of my gerbils have two names: an official registered name, and what I actually call them. For example: 'SI ABC Blue Sapphire SStar' = 'Sapphire' or 'BS' 'MS Careless Whisper SStar' = 'Wisp' 'SStar's Divergence' = 'Verge'

I call my one gerbil Robin my Dumpling. He might not be pure white (imagine a tiny drop of peach mixed into white and that's his coat) but he is so round he looks like a dumpling !

One of mine is called Zeus, but I tend to call him Goosey as he's a rascal Another is Kaiburr, but Kaibear as a nickname, Typhon is Ty, and Styx is Sticky. My slightly *hmmf* podgy boy Fudge is Crumpet
