I am trying to calibrate my apartment to make my gerbils most comfortable. I am considering buying a dehumidifier and I drilled some ventilation holes into the side of my gerbils' Detolf.
Can someone please tell me in Fahrenheit what the ideal temperature range is for gerbils? Thank you very much.

Drilled holes in the a Detolf - you're brave.
I manage to crack plastic even with a decent drill - wouldn't go anywhere near glass!!!!

Lol. I didn’t drill into the glass. I drilled into the “wooden” side.

Does anyone know what the ideal humidity for gerbils is? I have my dehumidifier now and I'm curious whether it is working well enough.
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure but for humans it's 40-60%. It's been very humid in the UK recently and close to 60% in my flat even when it's not been that hot. My gerbils seem more comfortable and are more active when it's under 55%.

I have seen the ideal humidity for Gerbils somewhere, trying to think where......
[edit] According to
"The UFAW Handbook on the Care and Management of Laboratory and Other....." state humidity between 35-55%, as does 'the Animal welfare companion book' (which is essentially an older version of the former). With an ideal temp of 20-24C. The Gerbil sections are in part written by Eva Waiblinger. The Swiss animal welfare Gerbil handbook didn't state humidity strangely!
