I’m going to be ordering a leaf mix meant for hamsters off of Etsy. I just wanted to make sure that the leaves are safe for gerbils. Does anyone have a good website for leaves or can just check the list for me? The mix has Neem leaves, artichoke leaves, birch leaves, hazelnut leaves, walnut leaves, dandelion leaves, cherry leaves, apple leaves, pear leaves, raspberry leaves, nettle leave, strawberry leaves, willow leaves, mallow leaves, Mira belle leaves, coneflower (echinacea) leaves, mulberry leaves, and corn leaves. Also here is the link to the mix: etsy.me/3vfmmki

The ones I know are safe are all but the following - so we can focus our attention to these:
Neem Walnut Cherry
I though neem was used for a natural insect killer (but then so are many plants when they are concentrated into an oil). Walnut I just remember reading something about it - so would need to check again. And cherry was always avoided along with any prunus woods (the woods and fruits of any trees with stones in the fruit) although I am not sure where the science ever was for the leaves too?
