That sounds grim! lol, you could try to creep me out by telling us , but I think others might be outright sick! They lay eggs on the ceilings, which hatch into larvae, which have a habit of dropping off suddenly. I had just buttered a slice of bread and was about to eat it when a larva dropped off the ceiling and landed on my bread.

Holy sh**! They're massive! But they don't creep me out , quite amazing actually, insects don't generally bother me, unless they get near my food of course! I agree, as long as I don't eat them or they don't eat me.

Citrus, eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree oil and lavender oil can repel insects. You could dab some on a cotton pad near where they're getting in
