Well I rang them and they said it's 'going out this week and I should have it early next week'. I think I'm definitely going for the Premier delivery next time!

Has anyone tried to fill the tank with dirt? It was just a thought I had... The tunnels I think might stay longer but is it a lot of insects in that dirt you by for flowers in the stores? Because in that case it wouldn't be worth trying.
I remember reading about it on the Internet a while ago though and that person only said that the gerbils got a bit dirty but otherwise it was okay.

I've just ordered the big sack of aspen from everythingforpets.com - hopefully it'll come quicker this time. It took nearly 3 weeks last time . And I had the same problem as delusional - emails left right and centre from them, but not really telling you anything . Tjiggit - I've heard that using dirt/compost isn't good, but I can't say why. Maybe someone else can help with that one...

It all depends on what deliver service you've requested methinks! I always get the premier and it turns up within 3 days but it does cost extra Sounds to me like you're all getting lost in the system with e-mailing - PHONE THEM UP if it's late and kick some butt! ;D Caroline

Here's a thought...let them know about the forum and how they have been recommended on here, and that their have been comments about delivery times and communications. Maybe they'll take note!!

I just found some aspen in my local emersons pet shop, 11Kg bale £24.99p, I know it's cheaper on the Internet but, i just have to phone the day before and, pick it up the next day, It's the bag that they break up into smaller packs, I asked her how much nearly feinted when she said £50 but you can have it half price. they charge like £4.95p a kilo.
Dirt is really messy as it gets dry it gets dusty and, makes the Gerbil look unkempt.

Hello,
From the previous posts I've concluded that Carefresh isn't suitable for people that suffer from asthma.
Is aspen bedding suitbale for asthmatics? I have a familty member who has terrible asthma and I would not like him to suffer. Any asthmatics have any problems with aspen bedding?
Thank you
