Pouring it out will produce clouds of fine dust so don't do it when animals are close by and consider wearing a mask yourself when pouring it out. Nevertheless, I haven't had issues with this sand/dust. None of my gerbils or hamsters have had respiratory issues since using it (although they did with the Pets at Home sand) and they all have lovely, shiny coats. Unlike quartz sands it doesn't smell even when peed on. It comes in very big 20kg sacks. This might be a downside if you have only a couple of gerbils and limited storage space. However at £17 per sack it's the best value of any sand I have seen. Overall I am very happy with this product and will be buying it again.

Wow! That is good value . Looking at the photo in the advert, isn't the brand T.Exal-H?

I will watch out for the brand - as the pack I brought home from the store last time seems almost identical to the PAH bags - and hopefully cheaper like yours. I will compare your price to any I find for sure.
Thanks for diving it on a new product that is so BIG!
