They're both good foods. I don't think the species designation on the packet actually means much because gerbils and dwarf hamster have very similar diets and their foods can largely be used interchangeably. If your gerbils do well on the dwarf hamster version, it might be best to stick with that, especially as it doesn't contain any pellets.
For gerbils younger than about 4 months I think the protein in the gerbil version is a bit low. I wouldn't recommend removing the mealworms from the hamster version because 15.5% protein is still fine for gerbils, and mealworms contain important vitamins.
