I have a pair of boys who are father and son and they declanned. I bought some dividers for my other 2 boys i already have and put them with my declanned boys on different sides of the divider. My father gerbil got a hold of my other gerbil's tail and now he is bleeding. What kind of cream do I use so he won't get an infection?

Poor thing - yes, anything mild, unpurfumed and child safe is the best options - and if you can make his side of the divider aseptic (ie sheets of kitchen roll only) it won't have a chance to get infected as it will be a very clean and dust free environment.
It is very unusual for a father to attack a son - unless the son is around the 12-16 months period and fancied himself in a takeover bid! That really is a shame for them.
So you already had 2 single gerbils already - so now you have 4 singles! Why do gerbils do this to us???

oh no I should've been clear. I separated a pair of brothers to the son and father and one of the brothers got his tail bitten off by the father that was with his son before they declanned. I still have a divider up so my brother pair won't fight but I did put the pair back together in the same tank. The father and son are by themselves again and I don't know what to do with them/

Still not clear - maybe because it is still early here...
You have 4 gerbils?
One pair were brothers One pair were father and son
Did you put all 4 gerbils together in one enclosure to form a giant clan?
And now: Are your brothers living in a split tank as two singles (ie they can't currently sleep together)? The father and son are living as a pair (and can currently sleep together)?

Ok - so you tried to pair up all 4 of them together - and during this the father attacked one of the brothers - and then took out his anger/frustration on his own son?
We can see how this has happened then, so it is possible that after a short while in a (fully totally cleaned out with only those 2 in it) split tank with his son he could possibly calm down and accept him back.
The brothers can never live in the same enclosure as the father or son again - even if there is a divide down the middle. Hopefully his tail is healing nicely and the brothers are still friends.
The brothers need to live in their own complete enclosure for ever - no more mixing. They shouldn't share any other gerbils things either - everything the own stays with them from now on. It is a relief that they are still happy together for sure.
The father and son need their own separate enclosure too - no more mixing with anyone while they are still sharing a tank. Hopefully if they are in the small split tank for a week or so, swapping sides, they could well re-bond and go back to living together fully - however this isn't guaranteed of course. I woudn't try them without the divide for at least 5 days - maybe longer if they aren't showing any posotive signs. We all have our fingers crossed.
If after 10 days of more the father and son aren't looking hopeful for being introduced back together - we can look at other options.

Thank you very much. I want 2 new gerbils but im also down sizing on my gerbils (my parents and I have cats now.) Should I get a new unrelated pair of boys for my current declanned boys? my brother pair jack and victor are doing great being back together. jack's tail is looking well.

Great that the tail is better for sure - it is always a troublesome time waiting for them to heal.
As for the brothers - yes - males from anywhere would be fine for a new split. One male for each of the singles - and go from there.
Good luck...
