My gerbils for some reason, don't seem the least bit interested in sunflower and pumpkin seeds. What are some other treats I could try out with them?? Thank. you

My gerbils like cheerios, rice krispy cereal, most nuts, and peanut butter. They also enjoy crackers....and pretty much any crispy treat stands a good chance of being recieved favorably.

Mealworms and bread (at least the multiseed or grained type, not tried others). My boys would often treat their veggies as treats (as in grab it and bolt off in a hurry ), especially with peas and supersweet sweetcorn (which despite its name has a modest 5% sugar), they love(d) dandelion leaves too.

They are certainly the odd ones out not liking pumpkin seeds!!! That is almost unheard of in my house.
Nuts, (low sugar) fake cheerios and shreddies, brocolli florets and kale, and waxworms - always seem to be over the 95% taken treats, but I must say that my duprasi are much more thankful for anything that isn't normal food - and will wake up, snatch, and run off with almost anything dropped in their enclosures - so my stats could be swayed?

All the things mentioned are above are almost universally liked by my gerbils. Most of mine have liked dried carrot as well, especially the softer slices rather than hard carrot flakes. Also, dried fruit such as raisins.
Some of my gerbils have had stranger tastes. Tilly used to like wheatgerm mixed with a little water to a porridge-like consistency. All the other gerbils turned their noses up at it but she loved it. I was happy to feed it to her as wheatgerm is very nutritious. Astra likes tuna and minced beef, and will hang around the cage door looking hopeful if she knows I'm eating either of them (it's not easy to hide tuna from a gerbil's nose). Some of my gerbils have liked malt paste as well (it's sold for ferrets mainly).

Tuna!? Lol, that is a weird one! (actually I now remember you mentioned that before, still weird! ). Oh yes of course, raisins! Oh and they also love Goji berries (which btw are native to their homeland). Not to mention blackberries, raspberries and strawberries.

Lily and Daisy once ate raspberries while snuggled up together in their coconut. It took ages for the stains to come out of their fur, and there was a trail of red gerbil footprints leading away from the coconut!

seems like they love berries, raisins and nuts as well! since they are newer to me, they're hesitant about peanut butter, baby food etc. because they aren't able to dash away with it
