We all know that IKEA's Detolf makes a great enclosure, and LilyandDaisy gave the inspiration about the Variera plateaus. There is more awesomeness to get from IKEA. My tip today is about the LACK tables. If we have gerbils, we have them in tanks. The tanks need to be placed ... somewhere. On something. And this is where the tables come in. I've got my gerbils on LACK tables, and this is why: PRO- These tables have exactly the right size for my tanks (see below)
- They are cheap (see below)
- They have this extra board which provides storage room for gerbil food etc.
- They look great
CONTRA- The tables are not that easy to assemble (the extra board is not for an unhandy person like me)
- They are not overly strong (made out of cardboard in a honeycomb structure)
- Of course, it's a table, so the gerbils are not as high up as you might want them to be.
I recommend these tables to anyone who still needs something for under the tanks. Links (United Kingdom): 118 x 78 cm, 40 Pounds: www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/lack-coffee-table-white-80449901/ 90 x 55, 19 Pounds: www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/lack-coffee-table-white-90449905/

Thanks for the review! Markpd, maybe we could have a category in this section for reviewing more human-oriented things, or things related to gerbil care but which don't go inside enclosures such as cleaning products, storage solutions and so on?
