(Translation of lacqui's post) Para mí, sospecho que Jamie Whiler tenga razón.

Thank you both for your answers
I do not see so much gray on his back, I would rule out that it is a CP Agouti
It is very light and has some very light brown notes, the tip of its tail also has a brown tint
Do you think it could be a Dark Tailed White (Himalayan)?

That is possible, however it all depends on how the brown is showing up. If it's more isolated, more like spots, I would think more like a honey cream. But if the brown is fading and all over the gerbil's back, just more prominent in some areas, than yes it could be a himalayan. Would it be possible to get a photo that focuses more on these brown spots? I didn't see them in the other pictures. I do see a lot of light grey over him still, which makes me curious if he may still be a CP silver nutmeg.
Using Google translate again, so I hope this was legible, I am not one that is good with languages 😂

Here some more images
It is a very clear gerbil, I can't find a dividing line between the belly and its sides
Although his back is very light, it is not completely white, just something very light brown, I don't know if it can be seen in the photos
The tip of its tail also some brown hairs

I'm still having a little trouble telling the color... I think the photos you're taking are good, it's just the subtlety of the color that is making it difficult. The pictures I'm seeing still look like gray hairs, instead of brown, but I'm sure I could be mistaken, given that it is your gerbil. It could be Himalayan, although usually, you see darker brown all over the whole body. I would still probably guess CP silver nutmeg due to the light gray hairs, the darker gray tipped on the muzzle, and the darker gray tail. This is mainly just based on what I can see in the picture, so I don't know where the brown would fit in. However, Himalayan is possible, so with the brown, I wouldn't rule that out yet.

Hmm, so, the one in front (the whiter one) seems to be CP Silver Nutmeg, as far as I can tell. It's very possible that's something else, but that's what I guess especially with the pics of your boy. The other one, I'm having more trouble with. I would think perhaps dark-eyed honey, but it's more of a shot in the dark. So, is your boy one of the five pups I see in the corner? (Is that number correct?) I see three whiter ones and two darker ones. Given the pictures that you sent previously, if he was one of these pups I assume he's one of the lighter three. Also, do you know how old he is? As they age their color tends to dilute, and this can make it a little harder to tell, or a little easier to mascarade as something else.

Hi there Laqui, sorry I've been off the forum for a few days and haven't been able to respond. I'm not the most experienced in genetics, so I would wait for someone more experienced to give a solid answer. I saw the video the second time you sent it, I'm just not sure which one is his brother. The two whiter ones come up to the side of the tank, and the one running in the wheel. By the pictures you've sent, I would still guess your gerbil is CP Silver Agouti, but with the brown spots, and the parents and siblings I'm not sure what to make of it. I'll do a bit of research and see what I can dig up, perhaps that can clear some stuff up
