Hi there, I hope the thread title wasn't completely confusing. I have a situation where I might have to introduce one adult, to an already bonded adult pair. I hope I won't because yes if a pair is bonded, it's best to leave them as they are. But if it's necessary, would this work? I know you can introduce two babies to an adult, or even two adults to a baby, but would three adults bond? Thanks so much!

No personal experience myself, but from what more experienced people have said this is a big no-no. It could de-stabilise the pair you already have, but even if not, when they are intro'd to the 1, they could pick on the new gerbil.
(Hmm, I thought I had this covered in the Split intro guide draft here, but it seems not. Still you might find useful info in the sub section here (Behaviour and Introducing - Experiences, Guides and Surveys) ).
