Lilly is so fast on her wheel and she runs a lot! I imagine that’s true about a lot of gerbils. These are my first two though and Oreo is not as fast. It’s so interesting they’re very different personalities. Oreo’s favorite thing is chewing!
Can videos be posted or just pictures?

Ahhh yes. Those seem to be the two main ways for gerbils to expel energy. I had three gerbils once that honestly could not figure a wheel out. They just didn't get it (I doubt they'd ever seen one in their life). I had to actually train them to use the wheel. It was kind of ridiculous, especially because they kept trying to build their nest in it. However, these same three would diminish a paper towel roll in seconds. I would put a paper towel roll in and as soon as they heard it they all flocked to it and destroyed it right away. If you imagine a cartoon of this description, it'll most likely be pretty on point. It was honestly slightly scary, haha.
Hmm, I know people have posted videos, but I believe you have to create a video on youtube, and then link it in the forum. You can also do this by posting the video on a website, media platform, or really anywhere that's meant to take videos, and then link them there.

I thought TJs was right about videos, that if you wanted it visible and playable here, then AFAIR Youtube was your only option, otherwise just link it. But when I linked the video below it showed other options besides YouTube. Yea it is funny how gerbils vary in their wheel use, Blake and Avon loved running on their wheels (especially Avon, who was obsessed with it when he was young. At one point I got so concerned about it that I removed the wheel for a night! lol). Although Blake didn't run on them as long as Avon, he used to like running much faster in bursts, unfortunately I never succeeded in measuring how fast (but with Avon I did, and I estimated 3 mph), and like I said, he was much faster than Avon! So fast his legs were a blur! My current boys however are very shy about going on it when I'm there, they hardly ever do! But I do hear them going on it when I'm out of the lounge! lol Here are my previous boys and their antics on their wheel (was early days, before I lined the inside of the wheel with cork to stop them skidding on it). Blake doesn't go full speed in this video. He does run at (I think) full speed here
