I have read a lot about exercise wheels for gerbils. I like the Niteangel silent wheels, but what size to get is a question. I have read everything from gerbils needing an 8 inch wheel to a 12 inch wheel. My topper is 11 inches high and I would like to give them a wheel, but I don't know what size to get. Please any input would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I would recommend at least an 11 inch wheel. With the Niteangel wheel that would be the Large size. 10 inches (Medium) can work too but bigger is better. 8 inches is only really for very young gerbils. 12 inches is great if you have space, but 11 inches is fine for most gerbils (especially females).
The Niteangel wheel is an excellent choice. I have three of them myself. I suggest removing the disc in the centre by twisting it anti-clockwise as there have been rare reports of long-tailed rodents getting their tails caught between it and the wheel, resulting in injury. It's purely cosmetic so the wheel will still function without it.

Yes, Niteangels are great. I got one after long contemplation and found that it runs silently (as promised) smoothly, and easily. Upon looking it over, I could see that it appears to have a very low risk for any sort of injury that any wheel doesn't inherently risk, just for what they are. I would say that 10 inches is the minimum. If you can get 11 inches, I would recommend going with that.
I'm a little paranoid when it comes to anything harmful to the gerbils, so I did remove the disk in the center (I couldn't sleep when I heard them run on it, worrying about a degloving injury). Honestly, though, I think it's a low chance that a tail could be caught inside. Of course, better safe than sorry I suppose.

I would probably have to go with the medium.

I got the Niteangel 11inch wheel and they love it. Coco uses it much more than Cream, but they both use it. It is a very nice wheel and very quiet. I am so glad I got it for them. Thank to everyone for the help deciding which wheel to get. youtu.be/1g2chocA3oE

Glad they're enjoying it Have they tried running on it together in opposite directions yet? Yes but you know how that doesn't work....LOL! They have also tried running together in the same direction, but that only last a few seconds and one gets off. Coco runs on it a lot more than Cream does. Cream is the digger and chewer destroying any cardboard tubes I put in the cage. Coco gets on the wheel and goes very fast and will get on and off the wheel for a couple hours at a time.

That reminds me of Avon, he used to stay on the wheel for hours too!
