I just got a new gerbil from Crazycritter a few days ago and cannot decide on a name. He is an agouti gerbil with a two white spots on his head. Part of me wants to name him something related to stars because he has that little spot on his forehead. Part of me wants to name him after naturally-occuring things, in accordance with my other gerbils (Jasper, Juniper, Aspen, Rowan, Logan). And another part of me wants to name him something completely different. From the side: From the top (you can see the little white spots): From the front (blurry, but you can see the spot better): He wasn't very cooperative, so here are some pics of him running away from the camera : If you have any suggestions, please list them! (I personally am leaning towards the name 'Roo')

But stars ARE naturally-occuring, you know.

Yes, I think Roo or Nova would be great names for the cute little thing. ;D "Nova" would be good because of the white on the head, but then "Roo" sounds cuter, and because he looks like on.

I change my vote! haha. I like Nova...Roo's good to. He kind of looks like a Roo. He's very cute...haha. I really like how golden he is. Like his dad. I also really like his white tuft. hehe.

I think I'm going to name him Nova. Every one at cat forum prefers that name too. The only thing is that "Logan and Nova" doesn't sound all that good together. Then again, Logan is going to a new home sometime in the next 6 months, so I could name Nova's new mate something similar .

If it's not too late, I like "Roo" too. Logan and Roo seem to flow.
