After tearing my room to pieces (Almost literally) I have found the lizard-keep-inner for my 10 gallon tank. Still no luck with my big tank, which dad says is a 50 gallon, not a 20 gallon. Which is fine, cause once I either find the cover for it or can afford to make my own I'll be setting that up as well.
I'm going to -try- to post a picture of the 10 Gallon setup here. I'd like for yall to have a look and let me know what you think.
Also, for a water bottle all I have so far is a rabbit bottle. It's tough enough that rabbit teeth can't get through it, should that be good enough for the gerbils too?
I'll post the pictures in a sec, my camera is being a putz.

Gerbils may not be able to push that ball hard enough to get the water out. Very gently tap the ball to see if water comes out. If you have to put any force on it, it isn't appropriate.

I've fiddled with it and it doesn't seem to be much effort needed at all, however I get a water bottle with the kit I'm buying so if the rabbit one doesn't cut it the other one surely will. Gerbils may not be able to push that ball hard enough to get the water out. Very gently tap the ball to see if water comes out. If you have to put any force on it, it isn't appropriate.

I don't think the water bottle stands a chance. Some people put the bottle into a tin can with a hole and hang it off the corner, you might try that. Or, find a tough glass container that fits the water nozzle/lid and replace the plastic with glass (they will chew through the nozzle eventually, too). Gerbils are very chewy and very tenacious, and that looks like it won't last long at all! The aquarium is nice, though.
