I was just wondering if any of you had devised a Halloween costume for gerbils. I know people make them for dogs and cats. Of course, some people think it's cruel too. But I know some of you take pictures of your gerbils sort of posed in a flower or something, so maybe you've taken a picture with a "costume?" I guess they'd probably just chew/scratch it off. Weird question, I guess.

Are you going to take your gerbils trick-or-treating? Lol! ;D I used to dress my dog up, she was very tolerant, and let me put fairy wings on her. Maybe if yo have an old sock, you could dye it and cut little arem holes. They could be little tramps!

This is the only pic I have with gerbils wearing costumes. It's not Halloween and it's not real, but it *is* cute ;D.

Hey Queenie,
You used paint with a brush or is it computer generated?
I think it is adorable!!

I meant'Paint', the computer program. It lets you draw on the image. Here's another one of my favourites (not much for editing, but it is another happy picture):

My son wanted to make costumes for our gerbils this year; he previously made "sweaters" for our garter snakes (little fleece tubes that they slid right out of!) Queen: I LOVE your cards! Especially liked the party favor! ;D

Do a lot of people here use paint or other picture editing software? Perhaps we could have a contest with people’s edited gerbil pictures?

www.geocities.com/peaceluvspets2003/happycritters.htmlMy husband just sent me a link to an E-Bay item.. this woman was selling them. I'm not by any means recommending or warning against her stuff, but I thought it was hilarious! I mean, can you see a gerbil on a leash?! (not for long, i.m.o.!) Mine would chew their way through before I'd even put them down!
