Cup the gerbil in your left hand and put your right hand over top of him and curl your fingers under his belly. Then you can turn him upside down and use your left hand to pull his upper lip up gently to look at the teeth.

Pooky: this is really ironic, but everyone always seems to have an argente golden spotted and a black gerbil! I had that combination until Sandy died.

lol your right! are they the most comon colors? im not that farmiliar with coloring stuff. but wow. thats kinda weird

Other than agouti, black and argente golden are usually the most common colours .

Hmmm, I haven't got an agouti,got loads of other colours,but no agouti's.

Agouti is the basic colour that gerbils in the wild have. All the other colours are produced by mutations.
