Glue?

I read somewheres about using glue on tp rolls to make different toys for gerbils. On the website they recommended Elmer's glue, but I don't have that. Can I use homemade glue/paste that I made from flour and water? I would imagine because its only those 2 ingredients that it should be safe but I just wanted to check. If not I do have a generic brand of Elmer's glue Ross' glue , would that be safe do you think?

childrens white PVA school type glue is best it's inexpensive, easy to use and harmless you can use it (assuming its a reasonable quality one) to stick card, paper and some wood, certainly its good enough for small animal houses and also structures involving tubes and toilet rolls as well as plain (not coloured) wooden lolly sticks

I read somewheres about using glue on tp rolls to make different toys for gerbils. Neat. I never thought of doing that. I may try to make my own TP structures now that school is out! -Megan

I used a store brand white glue (liquid not stick) to glue together the pieces of a Link-n-log type set into a house for my gerbils. They love it and it's really cute with a little green roof:) Any kind of non-toxic, child safe glue (also called school glue) will work.
