Hi everyone, I've decided to just buy a polar fox and grey agouti pair because breeding them would produce too many pups that I might not be able to find homes for. I haven't found these types in the area and can't find any breeders. Can any of you point me in the right direction for these color gerbils? I could pay for shipping and would pay a good price for one of these or two if someone has got them. I live in Austin, TX. Thanks for any help.

I must say you will have a very hard time finding them, as they are rare coloring for gerbils.

The American Gerbil Society has listings of gerbil breeders in various areas of the USA: www.agsgerbils.org/Also there is a place on this forum where breeders can place their listings. Good luck!

My friend has a polar fox looking like gerbil (she has a bit of gold coloring on her head) and a grey agouti. Maybe I can ask her to sell them to you. They are about to go up for adoption on th Sweetsqueaks.now.nu website.

Hey Clay,
I have a CP Nutmeg and I live in SC. I am not sure if that helps but it is similar coloring to the grey agouti.

Thanks guys for the responses, I've decided I can't pay for the expensive shipping for gerbils though, but if anyone has any near Austin, TX I'd defintitely be willing to meet somewhere. In the meantime, I just got another gerbil and I hope it carries the gg gene so I can produce some more colors. It looks like a pied dove but I'm not sure, I posted it today on this board. Thanks again.
