Yeaa I finally found an adress where I could get my gerbils. Those people breed for fun and live not far from my home. I saw and advertention on a Dutch website and so I've found them:) I get two male gerbies from them, which are 11 weeks right now. Tomorrow morning I can pick them up I'm really happy about it ! First they were white with red eyes, but they're turning grey now. The breeder thinks they'll get Sapphire. Now the pictures! (they're from the breeder, so at some pictures they're still really little) The white one! He's so little! Sweeet A little bit bigger The two white ones on the right Ahh.. Isn't he sweet Tomorrow I'm gonna pick them up and make hundreds of pictures

Ryan; Nah.. sounds like no problem at all! Lol Btw, yesterday I went to the breeder... Those people have sooooo many gerbils:O and cats, and dogs, A big, big animalplace I loved it They had fait-tailed, Mongolians, all kinds of them! They also had a litter; so sweet So I got there, and suddenly I could choose out of.. 20 young male gerbils That's way to difficult; I wanted them all But I fell in love with 2 little males of 7 weeks old, they look a bit like the gerbies on the foto's on top, but those are females. They have the same mother, but not the same father. The breeders think that they'll become Algerian Fox/DEH or Nutmeg. The one brother is a bit darker then the other, so maybe one become Algerian and the other one Nutmeg. We'll find out in the future ! When I put them in their cage (which they love; they checked everything ) they didn't dare to go into the plastic tubes, but the biggest one tried first and so the other followed. But then they didn't knew how to get out, but they found out soon and now they run trough the tubes like idiots And I have THREE houses, and where are they going to sleep? In the tank, on a stone I don't understand But their so sweet sleeping, they just climb over eachother and they don't even mind! They're also very social, they clean eachothers ears and heads, that's also a pretty sight They also fight a lot but I thinks it's just playing. When one starts squeaking they stop and go do something else. They lighter one (Sorry, I don't have names yet, I want one that fits them!) is way much more tame, after two houres I layed my hand in the cage and he jumep one en climbes over my arm:P He didn't wanted to go in his cage anymore, hehee;) But the otherone is scared or something, if I move my hand he seems frightened and sometimes he dares to touch my hand but then emidiatly he rushes back to another floor. When I came into my room yesterday he started to thump. Well, he can't be sexual excited because he's with his brother, so then he means to say that there was danger, and the danger would be me ?? His brother didn't pay any attention to his thumbing but it's a bit weird that one of them is so scared and the other one don't even care and love to sit on my hands. But I'll try making the other one tame also Sooo that was my big story I made some pictures (with a normal camera) so it may take a while before I got them but they are sweeeet Thanks for reading all this crap

Gerbils can cross breed with mice so if there are any mice around and the females in heat he could be "dancing" for them. I know this because a wild house mouse got in with some of my female gerbils when they were in heat and they ahad strange looking babies that lived for about a year and a half.
