obviously any change will cause soem stress but once the new lady friends go on heat I'm sure they'll be very happy use the split cage method...good luck As for putting a pic in..go to the bar at the top of the foruma nd click on profile in profile it says Members Bio - Modify Profile click that put the URL of yoru pic where it says avatar URL to add a picture to yoru signature you use the tags [ img ] URL [ img ] but leave out the spaces. Have fun to post pics in the forum use the same tags with the URL in the middle in you post

Are you planning to have two breeding pairs at the same time? I don't mean to be rude but I hope you've really thought this through because you could end up with 20+ gerbils on your hands before you know it! That's a lot of hard work.

Mice is, of course, quite correct. Many breeders find themselves with larger numbers of gerbils thant they expect because they underestimate just how quickly numbers build up and do not realise finding new homes can be difficult at times as gerbil popularity is a variable thing.
To illustrate, in January I got 1 pair of dipodils. Now these have much smaller litters than mongolian gerbils, yet 7 months later I have (if all pups do well) 11 dipodils. (thats 4 litters over 2 generations). now imagine that with mongolians (my biggest surviving litter being 9) and you have two pairs!!!! it is easy to see how quickly numbers can build up!!!

lol that's fine we where all noobs once stick with us and you'll soon catch up as Ryan said URLs begin http:// or www. and end with .com or .co.uk or .tk or one of many others www.photobucket.com is a URL and a very useful link as you can upload your pictures there. under each pic will be 3 'tags' one has the form www.picname.com thats your URL one has the [ img ] tags at each end thats the one for forums the other is for websites etc and its free (unless, like me, you have thousands of photos to store and link to ) to use these in the forum you simply highlight the tag, copy (cntrlC) and paste into yoru post (cntrlV) If you have uploaded to a website then right click on the picture, copy location and paste between [/img ] tags in yoru post
