Since pallids are from North Africa the import of wild pallids would not to America woudl not be possible. It would be possible to import pallids bred in captivity but there are a few issues. 1) you need to check to find a breeder and to fetch the aniamls. Few small breeders would 'ship' animals unless the new owner where colecting them in person 2) you would need to thoroughly research all relevant rules, laws and regulations including customs and airlines It could be very expensive 3) most pallids (and probably cheeseman gerbils) in the UK and possibly europe are not 'pure'. Due to confusion about the species the two species where often cross-bred. Therefore it is likely the pallids we keep would more accurately be called Gerbillus crosses.
