Hi peter, When I tried to log in to the forum just now it says floppy doesn't exist anymore!! I re-registered and checked out the members section and there were 2 floppy's listed, so I deleted the new one I'd just created. Can you tell me why I can't log in?

Hey Floppy,
Peter is on vacation. I am not sure when he is coming back. I do know that when I first started and registered, it did not take my first one, did my second attempt ot register, and now there are 2 Sweeties? Not sure why. I am sure Peter will be able to help you out when he comes back.

Thanks sweetie, I have been on this board for some time now and don't particularly want to have to start again! I hope he can sort it out! I just read a post from Peter saying he'll be back on August 21st...

THe log in pages on this site are a little screwed. I have it on auto log in. WHenever I come to the forums it says I'm not logged in. I hit *refresh* and I'm logged in. Same when I actually DO have to log in because I deleted temps. I'll put my sn and password in, then it says "invalid username" and I have to hit refresh. Also I noticed it doesn't like caps on. And Tab+Enter don't work, I have to actually click the OK button. Sometimes the log in screen at the top on the right doesn't let me in and I have to go to the other log in page. So.. I suggest hitting refresh a few times.

Thanks J. I'll give it a try! I usually have myself always logged in too, but we got a new hard drive a few days ago and had to re-install windows. I kept my cookies thinking it would help, the other forums I'm on have had no problem remembering me!

I just logged in, I'm an eejit! I was loggin as 'floppy' instead of 'Floppy'...it seems it's case sensitive. Oops! The only think now is that I'm logged in on the main page but as soon as I open a thread it says I've to log in again When I do it brings me back to the main page. It seems I'm only logged in when I'm on that page...I've tried refresh but it doesn't make a difference...I'll keep trying though

Hi,
That happens to me on the home pc if i log in using the log in section at the top of the home page.
if you actaully click the login option at the top to get the login page up, enter user name and password and tick always stay logged in that should do it.

Andrea, I've tried that and it doesn't work! I always have the 'stay logged in' box ticked. I can log in on the main page but as soon as I open a thread or go to post it says I'm not logged...so I log in again and it goes straight back to the main page...when I open a new thread the same thing happens again! AAAaaarrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!! I'm getting really frustrated! I've logged in and tried to access my profile and it says I'm not authorised to view Floppy's profile!

I am thankfull I have not experienced this. I keep login page on my favorites and just log in from there. It would make a difference having to "start" over and loose your seniority. I am sure your information would be better recieved with your ranking on there!!!! I am glad that every one is concerned and helping. You are all awesome . I also glad you figured it out Floppy!
