I have figured out the whole bookmark thing (I believe), where I choose to bookmark a thread, and can look at those bookmarks within my profile page. My Question is.... On my other forum that I have daily interaction, I can subscribe to a topic, or, at the time of posting 'opt in' via a checkbox,( in the same area as this forums box to check for bookmarking) to recieve email notification of any replies to that thread. Is there currently a way to do that on this forum, and I just haven't found it? Is there a way to implement that if not? I have found that to be an extremely useful function. Not so much in the other forum I use, it is just a hobby after all (geocaching), but on here I think it could be a fantastic tool for gerbil owners that may have posted a question, that may be health related for one of their gerbils. Many cell phones recieve those email replies, so you know an answer right as soon as it is posted on the forum, and those phones, for the most part are not forum friendly. Just a newbie thought and question.

it's in your profile settings. Let me look so I can give you a step by step! Ok... View your profile. At the top where it says "modify profile" there's a second option that says "bookmarks" Click it. On the far right, it says "MANAGE BOOKMARKS" Click it. Now you can chose if you want "email" "no notificaton" or "Personal message"

No wonder why you are the administrator. I did your step by step, and got it. Thanks! Things should work as I am expecting them now. Tim

well... to be honest.... lol... I asked that question like a year ago! It used to be automatic to your email when you bookmarked it... but then the forum changed a little, and you got to chose how you got your notifications... and I had to re do all my bookmarks! lol.

I guess it is the same thing as me. You had to deal with a change to something you were used to, and I have to get used to something completely new. I plan on being here for sometime, and am sure I will "get it", on how this particular forum works. Thanks again!
