So... who wants a vacation in sunny Florida?? ;D It's been mentioned in passing, but there's a push to start up an AGS show in the south(east). The original idea was to have the show in Virginia-- but a couple of us decided that, if you're going to go south, you should do it right! We're proposing a winter/spring show in Florida. Somewhere coastal: the northerners can come get a tan. ;D Donna Anastasi's looking for an excuse for a Florida vacation, so she's already agreed to come judge. We just have to find people for all the bajillion other positions involved. So what I'm looking for is: ~People who would come to such a show. We just don't have as many members down here, and those that are in the south are spread out. You don't have to be an AGS member, we mainly need those for the helping out part. ~People would be willing to help out at/help organize the show. I think this does have to be AGS members, though I'll double-check. We really need all the help we can get. ~Ideas for time and location. As I said, we're thinking of sometime in the winter or early spring. Fall would be a bit close to the October MidWest Show. We want it to be at least close to the beach, but it also needs to be pretty close to an airport, for those people flying in. So, um, yes. Show. Discuss. ;D

Crappy. Sorry. Y'all suck! I can't get on a plane with gerbils and fly for 3 or 4 hours.... and would they even let me on the plane with gerbils? I know it's heck getting a cat on as a carry on bag, but how about with gerbils? Gollie Shootingstar- I would love to come.... but I just can't. That's why it's crappy! I can't come! I WANNA COME TOO!

You *sure*?? ;D And actually, you can get on a plane with gerbils. I was surprised to find that not many people know that. I flew up to New Hampshire to get Drift, remember? I think over winter break (or earlier, if I somehow find the time) I'll try to talk with some airlines about adjusting regulations. As it stands now, I know that Delta at least will fly gerbils. But only ONE gerbil in ONE carry-case per person-- completely unreasonable for gerbils. Realistically you'd need to take a pair/trio in the same carry-case, so you don't have issues after the flight due to the strange smells. And if you wanted to show more than one gerbil (who aren't in the same clan), you'd have to have more than one person traveling.

I can't afford a ticket there, a hotel there, and a ticket back... I'm sorry. Or I would! Right now I'm trying to save to go an a cattle drive with caitlindawn next year. They own a bunch of land and have to round up their cows every year.... I've ALWAYS wanted to do that! And plus I'm just finishing payint the bank for that scam situation, and also, last week I rear ended somebody.... so that will be nearly $1,000 do fix.... I think insurance is covering it, or most of it anyway, but it's hard to say, as the place hasn't gotten back to me yet.... sucks. Sorry.
