This is a five and a half week old pup and I cannot figure out for sure what color she is. Her parents are siamese and spotted golden agouti. She is a off-white color with black eyes, a grey tail and pink toenails. She has a spot on the tip of her tail and some on her head and shoulders. I think she might be a pearl but I am not sure. I believe the parents genetics are: Aa Cc[chm] E- Gg Pp Spsp (mother-spotted golden agouti) aa c[chm]c[h] E- Gg Pp spsp (father-siamese) I am not entirely sure the mother has Cc(chm) but I am assuming she does because we keep getting a lot of pink eyed whites. A few pictures of the little girl are available at www.geocities.com/britwaugh/Images/

Could indeed be a pearl (colourpoint agouti), but I'm not very familiar with coloourpoint gerbils. I don't have any cp-gerbils!
Maybe someone else knows more!

Hmm, I'm wondering maybe a light colorpoint grey agouti? I think a big hint is the nail color being pink. Most of the gerbil pics I looked at that fit the rest of the description had lighter nails.
Good luck figuring out what her color is! It may be more obvious once she's a little older and the ticking if any comes in.

I have a question about nail color. If a gerbil is a color that normally has dark nails but is spotted on its feet, does that change the nail color? If it does then maybe it will help me figure out what color she is. Thanks for any help.
