hello everyone, about a month and a half ago, one of my breeding pairs produced a litter of for gerbil pups. Two were golden agouti, and 2 seemed to look like ruby eyed whites. The mother is golden agouti, and the father pied agouti. The two "ruby eyed whites", now have some weird light grey patches...and some on their face, the color is extremely pale, but is noticable. The still are ruby eyed. Can anyone tell me the color of these two? P.S. You have to look really close on their rumps... You can see a little grey on his face... Hi,
I am not 100% sure cos of the photos, but i think the patches are from moulting especially the V shape on the rump, this will grow out in a few weeks. ;D
They are at the right age to be doing there first major moult.
