Right now open to the board what colours can you see in this litter?. THe parents are a female Golden agouti and a male pied black. Also the heavy marked pup mottled or pied?? The pics doesn't do the heavily marked pup justice but he has specks on the understide of his tail also. the orange one has an orange belly so I have a feeling its a saffron? Andrea

Ok, no, wait...I thought you were talking about the lighter grey one. The other one, the darker one, does he have a darker tail then the rest of his body? I've never bred Siamese gerbils, but when I compared his picture to the Siamese colorstrips, they look similar. I also looked at Queenoftheniles site, where she has pictures of Siamese and Burmese pups. gerbilbreeding.com/week5.htmI may be totally wrong, but...what do you think?

no not siamese or burmese. upto now we have only bred siamese, burmese, CP slate and LCP slate and he look different to them. As far as I am aware there is no CP in the line. The camera is also making his tail look dark when in reality its the same colour as his body. we have weird gerbils Andrea

I think he's a siamese but if he carries one recessive e or g the colour might be slightly different than you are used to. One person posted a picture of a siamese which looks very much like yours and it carried one recessive e(f) (schimmel). Time will tell, his tail and nose will get darker.
